Under the Single Point Registration Scheme (SPRS), NSIC registers Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) for participation in Government Purchases. According to the Government of India, Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, New Delhi, in a Gazette Notification dated 23.03.2012 and amendment in order no. 2, the units registered under the Single Point Registration Scheme of NSIC are eligible to receive the benefits of the Public Procurement Policy for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSEs) Order 2012. Benefits Extended to MSME Having Valid Registration
The tender sets are issued free of cost, and there is an exemption from payment of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD). MSEs quoting within L1+15% price band can supply up to 25% of the requirement by matching L1 Price (non-MSEs). This provision aims to encourage MSEs to compete effectively and expand their participation in tender processes.
